The Community Conversation Thursday, May 2, will feature a tour of the Thomas Jefferson Gardens by board member Jean Walker, aka The Plant Doctor. The tour will begin at 5:30 pm.
Walker will identify the different parts of the garden and explain why they contain particular flowers or vegetables.
The Welcome Center at the Gardens will be open with refreshments. In the event of rain, the conversation will be inside the Welcome Center.
A Community Conversation is held the first Thursday of each month, usually at Trinity Lutheran Church. The May event is in a special venue.
